Pre-Selling or taking all and convert?

Selling online is much different than what it was before. Back then, you would have to write a huge sale letter and then hope that someone would buy your product. Nowadays, instead of selling a product, we (marketers) sell information related to the product. But before you get that information related to your product, you have to give us your e-mail. And then the marketing begins.

You receive a bunch of letters each and every day or once every two day or depending on what the marketer predetermined. Now he’s trying to sell you the true product he is selling.

You see, pre-selling is the idea that we have to get to you once you’re ready to buy. The idea of taking all and converting it is to take everything we can get from anyone. And then, through various e-mails we will be sending, to try and convince you to buy the product. The good thing about taking all and converting it is that we get e-mails from every prospect who is interested in what we sell. What we now can do with this list is to get affiliates and tell them that we can send an e-mail for them to all the people we have on our list, an e-mail which would “sell” their product, for a certain amount of money. Many marketers are interested in that kind of stuff because they don’t have to work to get the list. They simply buy it from someone who has done the hard work and got the reputation. The only problem is that not everyone on your list is going to buy the product so your list must be composed of a huge amount names and e-mails so he can pay for itself.

Pre-selling, on the other hand, doesn’t give you many e-mails though they are much more targeted. Each name the list is someone that has bought your product. This mean that those persons are much more likely to buy products in the future.

But which one of the two is the best?

Well the answer is that you should be using both of them, but separately. What you do is you take the list where you have all the names and you filter it to get only those people who actually bought something from you. From that, you’ve got your list of pre-sold clients. Keep those names in a locker because those people are the people that are making you money.
