As you know, my blog relates to ways I’ve found online to make money. At first, I was looking for forums where I could get informations about how to get bigger traffic to my blogs, how to get better search engine placement and so on. All the newbie stuff every newbie has to know. Well, I was amazed at the response I got there.
It’s weird how many new comers in the field think that in order to get money with Adsense, you have to make websites with high paying keywords, so you’ll see at DigitalPoint forums a couple of new members asking for those high paying keywords lists and the next replies are generally: “Hey dude, high paying keyword list don’t work”. The thing with that reply is that it’s true. We call those kind of websites MFA (or Made For Adsense) and it’s known that those websites generally get rapidly delisted from search engines and the Adsense user is getting a quick message from Google telling him he’s not following their TOS.
One other thing you’ll learn fast is that ClickBank products aren’t that easy to promote. It’s crazy how much the market of that stuff is already filled with people who have the skills and the money to advertise such products. It’s not something newbies should adventure in otherwise be ready to lose quite a bit of money. Even if you use the known techniques to get good lists of keywords, those keywords are already in use, and they are being competed at high price (higher than 0.75$ which is pretty high IMO for a starter). You’ll rather want to find “stand-alone” affiliates or use CJ to advertise solid-state material instead. The payoff might be lower, but it’s at least something when you’re just starting out.
Anyway, there are many things people interested in online marketing will learn from this forum as I did. It will help you save tons of money by not buying books as the community provides as good information as those guides/books/videos promise they will. Remember, those who sell the products to you are also in the marketing field. Products are MORE THAN OFTEN hyped.
Many have been looking how to make your adsense get awesome results by what some would call “tricking Google”. But everyone knows it’s impossible. When they think they are about to get their check (using all those nasty tricks) they get a “account banned” and they start complaining on every Adsense related forums.
There’s not many tricks you can use to get better results for adsense. Best one is to make sure your ad blends with the background and that you don’t have borders. Use your ads with some common sense and you should get good results.
The article which Falco85 has written is in my opinion, a good reference for everyone who’s starting is own “money generating stuff” online. Many come with the wrong mindset expecting to get amazing results from their ads without doing any work. You have to take making money as a business if you want it to work like a business.
The important idea is that you NEED to create unique content. The content should not only be unique but it must be good. If you’re just writing junk, no one will ever read it. Who reads junk anyway? Search engine might, but they are getting quite good a removing all those crappy websites.
Take your time to write your articles, no need to rush. It’s not by making more “light content” that you’ll get a good amount of steady visitors. By giving enough information to your visitors and showing them you take the time to actually review your articles, check for references, your visitors will see you as a good reference and might spread the word.
Resume: give them what they are looking for and they’ll give you what you’re looking for.
First of all, you will need a radical change of mind. Yes, stop thinking to make money from your sites and to rank well in the search engines. Your first and only aim must be to build a quality site, with quality and original content. You will need to add real value to your pages, and make your visitors happy to have found you. When evaluating your pages, you must say to yourself “would I be happy to see such a page? would I find valuable and good information? would I come back here to find more?”. Thus, you must think to your visitors. Stick in your mind that you must rank well in your visitors head, and not in the search engine rankings.
This is my golden rule.
In my quest to find stuff online that would help me gain some money, I found 66Days.com, what I thought would be another of those clickbank affiliates eBook. Well, it wasn’t. This small 3-pages website is really amazing.
Page 1 – You are introduced to the idea that you could be making lots of money in a small amount of time.
Page 2 – The author presents himself and explain the basic concept he’s using.
Page 3 – He explains how this concepts apply to making money. Result is amazing.
At first you might not understand the idea. It sounds like you won’t make any money at all doing this technique, well the idea is actually to do it so much that only gain is possible. If you don’t see how, get a sheet of paper and start writing win-lose situation and see the results you’re getting following the 3 rules of the system.
In my opinion, this sounds too good to be true, but I haven’t found the flaw yet. If you do, please mind posting it here.
