PPC keyword generator

After a quick search on SE, I find what I’m looking for: a program which will allow me to setup multiple keywords and then generate a list full of those keywords combinated. Such tool can be really useful when making an ad since it can provide a really wide range of sentence keywords instantly. Making an array of keywords of 10 by 10 by 10 will provide 1,000 keywords which is great for only 30 words and maybe 2 or 3 minutes of work (filling the keywords).

I have found many 2-3 words keywords which would give me the first position for the lowest bid price possible. Nice.

I take my time and select only keywords which have traffic and for which I would be in the top 10 positions. Out of a list of 100 generated keywords, I have been able to keep 20 to 40 of them. If you have trouble finding 10 keywords, use thesaurus to find synonyms to your main keyword and use them (make sure the words you use as synonyms are relevant). You might do this step multiple time for each words you had found before to make yourself a huge list.

There’s a nice feature in the software, the 160+ predefined sales words. Use them in your list whenever possible and see which newly formed keyword you profit from. This software can have a huge impact on your PPC campaign, so don’t wait anymore and get it now! (to download, go at the bottom of the article)

Ads abuse?

Believe in Jesus?
We’ll pay you $75 right now to
complete a simple survey!
PSO.com

Would you agree that what’s being shown on ads these days is getting quite abusive and aggressive? Using the “holy” image to sell a product make no sense to me. First, the title has no appeal. If you read it, then you think you’ll be reading a small description of a biblical website, but no, you’re getting the description for a paid survey website… How interesting… I wouldn’t add that it’s currently pointing to the most sold product on CB this month. I hope this guy is happy now with all the money he makes from all the people who register for such a product.

I haven’t bought the product myself and don’t consider doing so because I believe there is no value in this product. I would like people to prove me I’m wrong, but I’m sure no one will do it because it’s not worth that much. Note that the link on the side of my website is actually pointing to this website, don’t you find that amazing? I’m about to remove that.
Visitors think they might get something interesting, may it be about Jesus or that paid survey thing, but nor are really there. No info about Jesus, a landing page about a “service” which you pay for to get a list of companies you contact and get some money from… By the way, I can see that Google ain’t filtering anything about Jesus. It can be used as a keyword without any problem, so I don’t see why we couldn’t start writing provocative ads with religious conotation. Google won’t care, and we’ll make some money…

That is unethical. Respect. Do you know what respect is?

I hope this guy doesn’t make a lot of money out of his ads cause that’s a really big scam just in our face. The product he’s affiliated with have been marketed so much, I just hate when I see these ads for no reason (and with no relevance either) appear on a website I’m reading.

To those advertiser: please think back on your advertising strategies… You can make a lot more money not using “sensitive” ads.

I don’t want to offense anyone (by saying that I’m currently stating the opposite) but I think it’s stupid to use these kind of title. It’s almost a la Rich Jerk, I could almost make an ad with the following title:

You’re stupid
and I’m not. Learn how to
overcome your stupidity
www.YouAreStupid.com

Well, in fact, I can.

And article on ads writing should be following soon. It might help those people to make “real” ads.

The power of words

Never underestimate the power of words. When writing an ads, each word should be thought/weighed, like a writer rewriting his book over and over until he feels satisfied with the results. Many words have a true power which many might not even be aware of. Google adword call them superlatives. They are words which emphasize the subject, such as BEST or #1. This gives them a higher value to the eyes of future customers.

That’s one of the bigger reason you should not underestimate words. There’s another interesting things about words: the use of the words you and because is powerful. Those two words in correlation will have a great impact on anyone. A test was done to verify the strenght of the word because.

The experiment took place at a busy photocopier in a library. The researcher went to the front of the line and said: “Excuse me. I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine?” The result – 60 percent of the people let her go ahead.

The researcher then said: “Excuse me. I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I’m in a rush?” With these five words added, 94 percent of the people let her go ahead.

You may think that the reason “…because I’m in a rush” is what made the difference. Well, not really.

The request was then changed to: “Excuse me. I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I have to make some copies?” In this case, 93 percent let her go ahead. The request with virtually no reason gets 93 percent. The one with no reason gets 60 percent. The only real difference between the two is the word “because.”

As you can see, the results are amazing and at the same time it makes you think about how you automatically react to certain things such as words which implies “valid” reasons. Using what I would call a “flaw”, you can promote your products. And even if someone don’t fall for it, he’ll just find it weird and that’s great because it will make them laugh.

This article is great because I wrote it. You see?
